Trident Juncture 2018 was the largest NATO military exercise since the end of the Cold War. the exercise took place from the 25th of October to the 7th of November. It was under the command of Admiral James G. Foggo III (USN), Commander of NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command Naples. Although Norway was the central point for this mega exercise, Trident Juncture 2018 spilled over the surrounding areas of the North Atlantic and the Baltic Sea, including Iceland and the airspace of Finland and Sweden.
